STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.

About
Minister Carmine G. Frankson Sr.
Minister Carmine G. Frankson Sr. has served faithfully as an Associate Minister at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church since March 17, 2024. His walk with Christ has been one of service, transformation, and steadfast faith—from his early childhood on Long Island to his calling to preach and teach the Word of God.
Born in Queens, New York, and raised in South Farmingdale, Carmine accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life at just twelve years old while attending Farmingdale Assembly of God Church. It was there that the seeds of faith were planted and his love for the Lord began to grow. When his family relocated to Upstate New York at the age of fifteen, his spiritual journey continued to deepen in new ways.
At sixteen, he was accepted into Adirondack Community College (now SUNY Adirondack) under early admissions, where he studied Broadcast Communications and even hosted a morning radio show on WGFR, the college radio station. Those early experiences in communication would later serve him well in ministry—helping him share God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and compassion.
By nineteen, Carmine enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably. During his training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he was baptized into the Baptist faith in Lawton, Oklahoma—a powerful moment that marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to the Lord. After his discharge in December 1991, he returned to New York and began working in the building trades, using his hands to create and restore—something that, in time, God would use to build far more than homes.
In 1996, he returned to college to study Chemistry and re-enlisted in the Army Reserves, serving with the 1018th Quartermaster Company in Schenectady, NY. A few years later, in March 2002, he founded his own home improvement company, faithfully serving the Capital Region for over two decades. Yet it was during one of those service calls that the Lord redirected his steps in a life-changing way.
While completing a small remodeling project at Welcome Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, the late Pastor Robert E. Graves invited him to attend Sunday service. That single invitation became a divine appointment—one that would lead Carmine into active ministry for the next ten years. He served faithfully in the Music Ministry as a drummer and Vice President of the Adult Choir, finding joy in worship and fellowship with God’s people.
In 2012, he joined Elijah Missionary Church in Albany, where he continued serving in the Music Ministry until 2016. In June 2015, Carmine was ordained through the Non-Denominational Universal Church, receiving honorary recognitions as Doctor of Divinity (honoris causa) and Doctor of Humanity (honoris causa) in acknowledgment of his years of service and dedication to ministry.
A lifelong student of the Word, Minister Frankson has completed numerous theological studies and holds certificates from both Hillsdale College and Dallas Theological Seminary. His passion for sound doctrine and rightly dividing the Word of Truth continues to shape his teaching and preaching today.
In September 2023, he accepted the call to lead the Sunday School program at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, following in the faithful footsteps of Deacon John Moore. On March 17, 2024, under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Charles U. Barber Sr., he preached his initial sermon and was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Today, Minister Carmine G. Frankson Sr. continues to serve as Senior Sunday School Teacher and Associate Minister at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Whether teaching from the Scriptures, preaching the Gospel, or encouraging others in their walk with Christ, his mission remains the same—to glorify God, serve His people, and proclaim the saving grace of Jesus Christ with every opportunity the Lord provides.
